WalzWerk Motorcycles® Gründer & Inhaber Marcus Walz wurde 1967 in Heidelberg geboren. Der passionierte Motorrad Rennfahrer baut seit über 30 Jahren professionell und hauptberuflich Motorräder. Seine Erfahrung und seine Kenntnisse in der internationalen Motorrad- und Custombike Branche sind ohne Vergleich. Bis heute hat er über 1.000 Motorräder in verschiedensten Stilrichtungen gebaut, war Anfang der 90er Jahre im Ausland einer der Vorreiter des sogenannten "German Style", hat unzählige Trends erschaffen und 1999 mit der Erfindung des "Drag-Styles" sogar eine neue Motorradgattung ins Leben gerufen. Seine Motorräder wurden bis heute in weit über 2.000 Zeitschriften und Magazinen weltweit veröffentlicht, 2009 erschien ein Buch über ihn ("Marcus Walz - Hardcore for Life"), er wirkte in unzähligen TV-Shows und Fernseh-Dokus mit und gewann 2006 in den USA als erster nicht in Amerika lebender Teilnehmer die legendäre TV-Show "Bike Build-Off". Formel 1 Fahrer und Rock Stars zählen ebenso zu seinen Kunden wie viele namhafte Hollywood Schauspieler.

Sein klarer Sinn für Ästhetik und sein Verständnis für Formen, Linien und Design und nicht zuletzt seine Liebe zu jedem noch so kleinen Detail haben den Namen "WALZ" weltweit zu einem Synonym für hochwertige, handgefertigte Motorräder gemacht.

Seit vielen Jahren hat Marcus sich beim Bau seiner Motorräder hauptsächlich auf Cafe Racer, Scrambler, Roadster, Bobber und Concept-Bikes fokusiert. Oft kopiert, aber nie erreicht, ist er heute einer der bekanntesten Bike-Builder & Motorrad Designer unserer Zeit.

WalzWerk Motorcycles® founder & owner Marcus Walz was born in Heidelberg/Germany in 1967. The passionate motorcycle racer is building bikes for living for more than 30 years now. His experience and knowledge in the international custombike & motorcycle business is almost unparalleld. To date, he has built more than 1000 bikes in a variety of styles in his career. He has created numerous trends and even invented with the "Drag Style" a new motorcycle genre. He was one of the pioneers of the so-called "German Style" abroad at the beginning of the 90s. His bikes were published in over 2000 magazines & books worldwide, featured in countless TV-Shows and videos around the globe. He was the first and to date the only non-american Bike Builder to win the legendary TV-Show “American Biker Build-Off” in the USA. In 2009 a book about his life and bikes was published ("Marcus Walz - Hardcore for Life"). Formula 1 drivers and international Rock Stars are just as much a part of his customers as many well-known Hollywood celebrities, but he has always remained on the ground.

His clear sense for aesthetics and his understanding of shapes, lines and design and, last but not least, his unparalleled attention to detail, have made the name "WALZ" a synonym for high-end handcrafted motorcycles worldwide

Since many years he is mainly focused on building Cafe Racer, Scrambler, Roadster, Bobber and Concept-Bikes, always brand-independent. Often imitated but never equalled, he is one of the most iconic and popular bike builder & motorcycle designer of our time.
